Prepared according to the procedure described for example 50 from 5-[(3,5-dichloro-4-pyridyl)sulfanyl]-4-nitro-thiophene-2-carboxylic acid (3.0 g, 8.5 mmol) and tert-butyl 4-aminopiperidine-1-carboxylate (2.2 g, 10.0 mmol). The title compound was obtained as a solid (3.3 g, 73% yield). 1H NMR (400 MHz, d6-DMSO) δ: 8.98 (2H, s), 8.66 (1H, m), 8.47 (1H, m), 3.87 (3H, m), 2.82 (2H, m), 1.73 (2H, m), 1.37 (9H, s), 1.31 (2H, m).
