Reaction Steps
To a solution of benzyl 3-amino-3-(2-ethoxy-2-oxoethyl)pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate (260 mg, 0.85 mmol) and p-octylphenylisocyanate (215 mg, 0.93 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (3 mL) was added triethylamine (0.35 mL, 2.55 mmol) to give the title compound as a brown solid (140 mg, 31%). MS ESI 538.2 [M+H]+, calcd for [C31H43N3O5+H] 538.32.
