Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared in a manner analogous to Intermediate 33 substituting 3-methyl-2-iodobenzoic acid for 3-fluoro-2-iodobenzoic acid. 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3): 7.79 (d, J=7.4 Hz, 2H), 7.48 (d, J=7.5 Hz, 1H), 7.42 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 1H), 6.53 (s, 1H), 2.07 (s, 3H).
