4-(4-(Benzyl(methyl)amino)cyclohex-1-enyl)-N,N-dimethylpyridin-2-amine (340 mg, 1.06 mmol, 1.0 eq.) was dissolved in MeOH (10 ml) and degassed with argon. Pd(OH)2 (170 mg) was then added and hydrogenation was carried out for 3 hours. After monitoring by TLC, the reaction mixture was filtered over Celite and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure and purified by column chromatography (Alox, 2% MeOH in DCM). Yield: 71% (175 mg, 0.75 mmol)
