Reaction Steps

A solution of benzyl 1-(2-(benzyloxy)pyridin-4-yl)piperidin-4-yl(methyl)carbamate (400 mg, 1.160 mmol, 1.0 eq) in MeOH (5 ml) was degassed for 15 minutes with nitrogen. Pd(OH)2 (300 mg, 60% w/w) was then added and hydrogenation was carried out for 4 hours at RT. After monitoring by TLC, the reaction mixture was filtered off over Celite, concentrated under reduced pressure and dried. Yield: 87% (210 mg, 1.014 mmol)
