Procedure
The process is exactly the same as in 2. above but a temperature of 20° C. is used, starting from alpha-(6-chloro-2,2-dimethyl-4H-1,3-benzodioxin-8-yl)-alpha-methyl-1-triphenylmethyl-1H-imidazole-4-methanol (prepared in Example 2.B.2.). The yield is practically quantitative; M.P.: 85°-100° C. (decomposition). An analytical sample is prepared by stirring in diethyl ether; M.P.: 72°-90° C. (decomposition).
