0.625 g (4 mmol) of 2-mercaptothieno[3,4-d]imidazole are added at 25° C. to 1.35 g (4 mmol) of the title compound from Example 4 in 50 ml of ethanol, and the mixture is stirred at 60° C. for 1.5 hours. The reaction mixture is concentrated in vacuo, and the residue is treated with acetone, filtered off with suction, washed with acetone and dried in vacuo, m.p. 180°-182° C.
