Procedure

A solution of Example 19 in methanol was treated with sodium borohydride at room temperature in the usual manner. This product was converted to the hydrochloride salt and crystallized from methanol-ether, m.p. 213°-215° (dec.).

Workup

  1. customcrystallized from methanol-ether, m.p. 213°-215° (dec.)
