Procedure

By the same procedure as described in Example 28 (R)-2-ethynyl-3,4-dihydro-6-methoxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethyl-H-1-benzopyran was prepared from (R)-(-)2-ethynyl-3,4-dihydro-2,5,7,8-tetramethyl-2H-1-benzopyran-6-ol. This product was produced as white prisms=93°-95° C. [α]D25 -57.14°, (C 0.28, CHCl3).
