In a similar manner to the procedures described in Example 7(ii) above, 4-bromo-2-(4-fluorophenyl)-3-(2-methylaminopyrimidin-4-yl)-1H-pyrrole [prepared as described in step 1(vii) above] was reacted with triisopropylsilyl triflate to afford the title compound (yield 67%) as a pale brown amorphous solid.
