Reaction Steps

A mixture of Example 14 (0.1 g, 0.24 mmol), 3-trifluoromethylphenylboronic acid (0.14 g, 0.72 mmol), Pd(PPh3)4 (0.028 g, 0.024 mmol) and 2N Na2CO3 solution (0.1 ml) in DME was heated at 75° C. for 12 h under nitrogen. The reaction mixture was cooled, and the solvent was evaporated. The resulting residue was purified by flash column chromatography (SiO2, 10% ethyl acetate in hexane) to provide the title compound (0.1 g, 87%) as a light yellow solid.
