(RS)-Trifluoro-methanesulfonic acid 3-[(4-cyano-benzylcarbamoyl)-methoxy-methyl]-2,4-difluoro-phenyl ester was prepared from (RS)-N-(4-cyano-benzyl)-2-(2,6-difluoro-3-hydroxy-phenyl)-2-methoxy-acetamide in analogy to (RS)-trifluoro-methanesulfonic acid 3-[(4-cyano-benzylcarbamoyl)-ethoxy-methyl]-2,4-difluoro-phenyl ester (example 217). Yellow oil. MS 482.3 ([M+NH4]+).
