Reaction Steps

A mixture of the compound of EXAMPLE 2 (0.383 mmol) and triethylsilane (0.422 mmol) in trifluoroacetic acid (6 ML) was stirred at 0° C. for 2.5 hours. The mixture was diluted with dichloromethane (20 mL) and quenched with sodium hydroxide solution until the pH was 10-13. The mixture was extracted with dichloromethane, dried over magnesium sulfate, filtered and concentrated. The residue was purified by flash chromatography using 8% methanol, 0.5% ammonium hydroxide in dichloromethane to give the title compound (191 mg, 95%).
