Reaction Steps
2-[(2-Hydroxy-ethyl)-(2-phenoxy-ethyl)-amino]-ethanol was prepared according to the general method as outlined in example 83. Starting from diethanolamine (15.0 g, 150). and 2-chloro-phenetol (15.6 g, 100 mmol). Yield 18 g, (80%); Colorless oil; MS: 226 (M+H)+.
