General Procedure D. Ethyl 5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine-3-carboxylate (Compound 11, 200 mg, 0.66 mmol) and crude 1-vinylpyrrolidine (Compound 38, 2 g) in CHCl3 (20 ml) was heated at 75° C. overnight under nitrogen. The solvent was removed in vacuo, and the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (20% ethyl acetate in hexane) to yield the title compound as a light yellow solid.
