Procedure

Into a solution of Compound 63 (30 mg, 0.06 mmol) in 2 mL MeOH was added NaOH (50 mg). The solution was heated to reflux for 30 minutes. After cooling to room temperature, the solvent was removed, and the residue was dissolved in 4 mL of DMF and 1 mL of water. The mixture was heated to 150° C. for 16 hours. The mixture was diluted with 20 mL of Et2O and the solution was washed with brine, dried and concentrated. The residue was purified on silica (eluted with 10-50% of ethyl acetate in hexanes) to give Compound 65 (7.9 mg, 30%) as a white solid.
