Into a solution of Compound 39 (100 mg, 0.24 mmol) in 2 mL of CH2Cl2 was added Dess-Martin periodinane (127 mg, 0.3 mmol) at 0° C. The solution was stirred at 0° C. for 1 hour and warmed to room temperature. The reaction was concentrated. The residue was purified by column chromatography on silica gel (1-5% MeOH in CH2Cl2) to give Compound 67 (93 mg, 94%) as a white solid.
