To a solution of 6-aminobenzo[c][1,2]oxaborol-1(3H)-ol (16.4 g, 0.11 mol) and pyridine (10.3 g, 0.13 mol) in MeCN/DMF (400 mL/100 mL) was added 2-cyano-4-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonyl chloride (24.7 g, 0.1 mol) at 0° C., then the solution was stirred at room temperature overnight. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo, and DCM and water was added to the residue. The organic layer was dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated to give the crude product.
