To a solution of 2-cyano-N-(1-hydroxy-1,3-dihydrobenzo[c][1,2]oxaborol-6-yl)-4-nitrobenzenesulfonamide (1.077 g, 3 mmol) in MeOH/NH4OH (100 ml/10 ml) was added Raney Ni (2 g) under nitrogen, then the solution was stirred under hydrogen atmosphere at room temperature for overnight. The mixture was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated to give title compound 4-amino-2-(aminomethyl)-N-(1-hydroxy-1,3-dihydrobenzo[c][1,2]oxaborol-6-yl)benzenesulfonamide (1.0 g, 100%) as a green solid. 1H NMR: DMSO 400 MHz. δ7.41 (d, J=14.0 Hz, 2H), 7.16 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 7.08 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 6.63 (s, 1H), 6.33 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 5.82 (brs, 2H), 4.84 (s, 2H), 3.95 (s, 2H).
