Reaction Steps

To a solution of the compound (0.150 g) obtained in Example 500 in THF (5 mL) were added oxalyl chloride (38 μL) and DMF (3 μL), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 min. The reaction mixture was concentrated, and to a solution of the residue in THF (2 mL) was added a solution of methylamine (0.0269 g) in THF (5 mL), and the mixture was stirred for 10 min. To the reaction mixture was added water, and the resultant product was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with brine and dried, and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to give the title compound (0.039 g, 25%) as a white powder.
