Reaction Steps
According to the method reported by Carl Kaiser et al in J. Med. Chem., 17, 49-57 (1974), a solution of 500 mg of the compound of Example 22 in 1 ml of tetrahydrofuran was added dropwise to a suspension of 50 mg of lithium aluminum hydride in 2 ml of tetrahydrofuran to cause reaction, followed by after-treatment, whereby 381 mg of the above-identified compound were obtained. Rf=0.13 (methanol/chloroform of 1/10).
