Reaction Steps
In an analogous fashion as described in Step A, 7.56 g of Boc-DAla-OH, 5.06 g of HOSu, 8.25 g of DCC, 13.8 ml of DIEA and the HCl salt above were allowed to react in 100 ml of DMF to give 16.67 g (87% of Boc-DAla-Phe-Met-OCH3, m.p. 109°-110° C., [α]D24.5 =-19.73° (c, 1.00 in methanol).
