Procedure
Under a nitrogen atmosphere, methanol (1 drop) was added to a suspension of cis-4-[(4-chloro-1H-indazol-5-yl)oxy]cyclohexanamine (54.2 mg, 0.204 mmol) in acetonitrile (4 ml) at room temperature to effect dissolution, and 1M-hydrochloric acid-diethyl ether (224 μl, 0.224 mmol) was added dropwise thereto. After 1 hour, diethyl ether (10 ml) was added to the reaction suspension and the resulting mixture was filtered. Then, the precipitate was dried under pressure to obtain cis-4-[(4-chloro-1H-indazol-5-yl)oxy]cyclohexanamine hydrochloride (57.8 mg, 94%).
