3-Benzoyl-1-(4-chloro-butyl)-5-(2-fluoro-pyridin-3-yl)-1H-pyrimidine-2,4-dione (310 mg, 0.77 mmol) was dissolved in a solution of 3% NH3 in MeOH (10 ml). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours, the solvent was then evaporated under vacuum to give 260 mg of a crude that was used without further purification in the next step.
