Reaction Steps

A solution of DAST (400 mg, 2.5 mmol) and the compound of Example 54 (660 mg, 2.2 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (30 mL) was stirred for 2 h at 25° C. The solution was poured into ice water (50 mL) and extracted with CH2Cl2. The organic extracts were combined, washed with brine, dried (MgSO4), concentrated, and purified by RC with 1:9 ethyl acetate/hexanes to give 550 mg of the title compound as a yellow oil, an 83% yield.
