A mixture of methyl iodide (1 ml, 15 mmol) and 3-(3-hexyloxy-1,2,5-oxadiazol-4-yl)pyridine (1 mmol) in acetone (5 ml) was stirred at room temperature for 18 h and evaporated to give the title compound.
