Procedure

A solution of the compound (500 mg) obtained in Example 31 and diethoxymethyl acetate (7 ml) was stirred at room temperature. After stirring for 1 hour, the resulting crystals were collected by filtration to give 480 mg of a white powdery solid (yield 73%).
