The title compound was prepared from 4-phenylimidazole and 4-fluorobenzaldehyde according to the general procedure described for 4-methoxy-4-[3-[4-(2-methylimidazol-1-yl)benzyloxy]phenyl]-3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2H-pyran (Example 2).
