The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in step 2 of Example 45 from tert-butyl 4-((1S)-1-{[(2,5-dichloropyridin-3-yl)carbonyl]amino}ethyl)benzoate (step 1 of Example 45) and 3-methoxy-5-methylphenol: 1H-NMR (CDCl3) δ 8.54 (1H, d, J=2.6 Hz), 8.17 (2H, d, J=2.8 Hz), 7.95 (2H, dd, J=6.6, 1.8 Hz), 7.39 (2H, d, J=8.1 Hz), 6.67 (1H, br.s), 6.55–6.51 (2H, m), 5.40–5.30 (1H, m), 3.80 (3H, s), 2.37 (3H, s), 1.58 (9H, s), 1.57 (3H, d, J=6.8 Hz).
