Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared from 3-iodo-8-methyl-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine (example C.20 step 3) (804 mg, 2 mmol) and 5-ethynyl-pyridin-2-ylamine (example D.1) (307 mg, 2.6 mmol) according to general procedure II. Obtained as an off-white solid (160 mg, 20%). MS (ISP) 393.1 [(M+H)+]; mp 239–240° C.
