Reaction Steps
117-C was coupled with 6-[(7-methoxyquinolin-4-yl)oxy]-2-methyl-1-benzofuran-3-carboxylic acid 117-D (as prepared in Scheme II discussed previously). After work up the mixture was treated with 50% TFA in CH2Cl2 to give N[5-(aminomethyl)pyridin-2-yl]-6-[(7-methoxyquinolin-4-yl)oxy]-2-methyl-1-benzofuran-3-carboxamide 117-E.
