A mixture of N-(3,5-dichloropyrid-4-yl)-4-difluoromethoxy-8-nitro-dibenzo[b,d]furan-1-carboxamide (step 8) (100 mg), methanol (10 ml) and 10% Pd/C (10 mg) was hydrogenated at 60 psi for 12 h. Filteration of the reaction mixture over celite bed and removal of solvent methanol under reduced pressure afforded N-(3,5-dichloropyrid-4-yl)-4-difluoromethoxy-8-amino-dibenzo[b,d]furan-1-carboxamide as white solid. mp: >270° C.
