The product from step C (138 mg, 0.265 mmol) and 5 mol % of 10% palladium on carbon (14 mg) was dissolved in 20 mL of methanol and purged with nitrogen. Balloon pressure of hydrogen was added and the resulting slurry was stirred for 5 hours. The septum was removed and the slurry was filtered through celite and concentrated. Yield 98 mg, quantitative.
