A mixture of N-[(1-{[(1R,2R)-2-phenylcyclopropyl]carbonyl}piperidin-4-yl)methyl]-5-[(trimethylsilyl)ethynyl]pyrimidin-2-amine (EXAMPLE 154) (0.200 g, 0.462 mmol) and potassium carbonate (0.128 g, 0.924 mmol) in methanol (3 mL) was stirred at RT for 0.5 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo, diluted with ethyl acetate (50 mL), washed with water (20 mL), and brine (10 mL), then dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated. The residue was chromatographed on silica gel 60 (35 g), eluting with 10:1-20:89-70 CH2Cl2:2-propanol:hexane to give the title compound. M.S. (M+1): 361.
