In 2 ml of dichloromethane, 1019 mg (2.25 mmol) of the Boc-aminopropanol-diclofenac obtained above was dissolved, and 8 ml of 4 M hydrochloric acid/ethyl acetate was added thereto under ice-cooling, followed by stirring for 3 hours. 150 ml of diethyl ether was added thereto for precipitation, and the precipitate was dried under reduced pressure to give 791 mg (90%) of the titled compound. The structure was identified by 1H-NMR.
