Reaction Steps
To a solution of 3-[6-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-2-oxo-2H-quinolizin-1-yl]-4-fluorobenzonitrile (Example 30) in dioxane/2N KOH was heated to 60° C. for 1 h. The solution was concentrated and purified via reverse phase HPLC (10-100% acetonitrile in H2O, Kromisil, C8, 30×100 mm) to give a title compound.
