3-Isopropyloxy-5-phenoxy-N-(5-bromothiazol-2-yl)-benzamide (1.1 g, 82%) was prepared from 5-bromo-2-aminothiazole (830 mg, 4.6 mmol) and 3-isopropyloxy-5-phenoxybenzoic acid (835 mg, 3.1 mmol) following the general procedure A.
