Reaction Steps
4-(1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)phenylguanidinium nitrate was prepared from 4-(1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)aniline (1.42 g, 8.87 mmol), cyanamide (635 mg, 15.1 mmol) and concentrated HNO3 (645 ml, 9.67 mmol) in a manner similar to the corresponding starting material of Example 1, as a white solid (1.0 g), m.p.>320°.
