Reaction Steps
The product from Example 251A was treated with 22N aqueous sodium hydroxide: 1 tetrahydrofuran: 1 ethanol (2 ml) at room temperature overnight. The reaction mixture acidified with 1N hydrochloric acid to pH 3-4, extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, filtered and the filtrate concentrated in vacuo. The residue purified by HPLC to provide the titled compound. 1H NMR (500 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ12.13-12.81 (br.s, 1 H), 8.94 (s, 1 H), 8.18 (t, 1 H), 7.14-7.34 (m, 7 H), 6.98 (m, 7 H), 6.82 (d, 2 H), 4.05 (s, 2 H), 4.00 (s, 2 H), 3.95 (t, 2 H), 3.74 (d, 2 H), 2.91 (s, 3 H), 2.38 (s, 3 H), 2.30 (t, 2 H), 1.93 (m, 2 H); MS (ESI+) m/z 632 (M+H)+.
