2-Bromo-N-(1-methoxy-4-methylpent-2-yn-4-yl)-3-methoxypropionamide was prepared in a similar manner to 2-bromo-N-(4-methylpent-2-yn-4-yl) 3-methoxypropionamide described in Example 18, Step 3 using 4-amino-1-methoxy-4-methylpent-2-yne hydrochloride in place of 4-amino-4-methylpent-2-yne hydrochloride.
