Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared from 300 mg 3-(1-benzyl-piperidin-4-yl)-propionaldehyde (from Step D), 300 mg of 1,2-phenylenediamine and 200 mg sodium triacetoxyborohydride in THF and DMF using a procedure analogous to that described in Example 1, Step J.
