Reaction of N-cyano-N'-[2-((4-methyl-5-imidazolyl)methylthio)ethyl]-S-methylisothiourea with excess ethylenediamine at room temperature afforded the title compound m.p. 164°-167° (from acetonitrile-ethanol).
