Procedure

To a solution of 12-(4-chloro-benzenesulfonyl)-4,5,12-triaza-tricyclo[6.3.1.02,6]dodeca-2(6),3-dien-7-one (58 mg, 0.16 mmol) in 2:1 MeOH/THF (3 mL) was added NaBH4 (12 mg, 0.33 mmol) in portions. After sixteen hours the reaction was quenched with half saturated KHSO4 and then diluted with EtOAc and water. The separated organic phase was washed with water (10 mL), brine (10 mL), dried over MgSO4 filtered and concentrated to yield 12-(4-chloro-benzenesulfonyl)-4,5,12-triaza-tricyclo[6.3.1.02,6]dodeca-2(6),3-dien-7-ol (44 mg, 76%) as a white fluffy solid. MS (ES) m/e 354.0. (M+H)
