0.4 g (1.0 mmol) [(3R,3aR,6R,6aS)-3-(5-fluoro-2-nitro-phenoxy)-2,3,3a,5,6,6a-hexahydrofuro[3,2-b]furan-6-yl]trifluoromethanesulfonate (prepared as described for III.3 from III.1), 0.1 g (1.5 mmol) potassium cyanide and 0.3 g (1.0 mmol) 18-crown-6 in THF is stirred at RT for 3 h. The reaction mixture is filtered through celite and evaporated. The residue is taken up in EtOAc washed with water, dried and evaporated. The residue is purified by FC.
