To an ambient solution of 5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyridin-2-amine (0.350 g, 1.59 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (4 mL) was added phenyl isocyanate (0.174 mL, 1.59 mmol). The solution was stirred at room temperature for 1 h and was then concentrated under reduced pressure. The solid was washed with diethyl ether (2 mL) and air-dried to give the title compound. MS (ESI) m/z 221 [M+H]+.
