Procedure
4-(N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-N-methylsulfamoyl)benzoic acid (7) (100 mg, 0.31 mmol) was treated with 4-(pyridin-2-yl)thiazol-2-amine (46 mg, 0.26 mmol) using method C. The residue was purified using flash chromatography eluting with EtOAc. The resulting solid was triturated with diethyl ether to give 4-(N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-N-methylsulfamoyl)-N-(4-(pyridin-2-yl)thiazol-2-yl)benzamide as a yellow solid. Yield: 39 mg (31%). 1H-NMR: 8.64-8.61 (m, 1H), 8.28 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2H), 8.02 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 7.94-7.88 (m, 2H), 7.67 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2H), 7.35 (ddd, J=7.5, 5.0, 1.0 Hz, 1H), 7.03-6.99 (m, 2H), 6.91-6.88 (m, 2H), 3.75, s, 3H), 3.16 (s, 3H).
