Procedure

This compound was prepared according to general method D from methyl 2-(4-methyl-6-(1-methyl-1H-indol-6-yl)-2-phenylpyrimidin-5-yl)pentanoate (0.076 g; 0.184 mmol), sodium hydroxide 10N (0.184 mL; 1.838 mmol) in methanol (1.8 mL) to afford 0.058 g (75%) of the title compound as a white solid.
