This compound was prepared according to general method D from methyl 2-(4-(4-chlorophenyl)-6-methyl-2-phenylpyrimidin-5-yl)pentanoate (0.056 g; 0.142 mmol), sodium hydroxide 10N (0.142 mL; 1.42 mmol) in methanol (1.4 mL). Purification by flash-chromatography on silica gel using a gradient of methanol (1-10%) in dichloromethane followed by a purification by preparative HPLC (HPLC method 1) furnished 0.026 g (48%) of the title compound as a white solid.
