This compound was prepared according to general method D from methyl 6,6,6-trifluoro-2-(4-methyl-2-(piperidin-1-yl)-6-p-tolylpyrimidin-5-yl)hexanoate (0.102 g; 0.227 mmol), sodium hydroxide 10N (0.227 mL; 2.27 mmol) in methanol (2.2 mL). Purification by preparative HPLC (HPLC method 1) furnished 0.062 g (60%) of the title compound as a white solid.
