Prepared from 3-phenethyloxy-benzoic acid and 4-amino-1-hydroxyadamantane to give the title compound as a mixture of two isomers. 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3): δ 7.20-7.39 (m, 8H), 7.13 (dd, 0.3H), 7.02 (dd, 0.7H), 6.22-6.38 (m, 1H), 4.09-4.28 (m, 3H), 3.11 (t, 2H), 2.24 (t, 2H), 1.47-2.00 (m, 9H).
